Susan Langer | Chair of the Board

Susan's 30-year career has spanned financial services, marketing, international development and philanthropy. In 1996, Susan formed Mosaic Marketing to offer growth-oriented entrepreneurs with a new formula for success by combining brand advertising with direct marketing.  This results-oriented strategic planning and marketing services firm targeted financial services and high-tech industries, and grew to a staff of ten and $3.5MM in billings by 1999. In 2001, Susan moved her firm to New York City one week prior to the September 11 tragedy, leading to a professional transition to the non-profit sector. Within the non-profit space, Susan has served as executive director for World Vision on the East Coast, worked with women and youth in the Middle East, helped launch a women’s homeless shelter in New York City and helped develop a national growth strategy for a non-profit serving at-risk teens in Minneapolis. In 2010, following dramatic economic and market shifts, Susan reprised Mosaic, renamed it Mosaic Mindshare and adjusted its focus to help non-profits and entrepreneurs to help respond to these debilitating changes. This resulted in a long-term contract to serve on the executive team that launched Partners in Food Solutions, a non-profit inspired by General Mills that remotely transfers knowledge and expertise of its employees (volunteers) to help small and growing food companies in Africa produce more nutritious, safe and affordable food.  Inspired by her work in banking, marketing and philanthropy, Susan founded Live.Give.Save.,an all-in-one mobile platform that empowers and rewards consumers to leverage existing behaviors in spending to effortlessly boost retirement savings and increase charitably giving through one-touch simplicity. Susan has served on several non-profit boards, was elected to her local school board and actively supports initiatives that demonstrably empower, equip and encourage women and youth to discover their value and realize their full potential. Susan has two grown step-children and lives in Red Wing, Minnesota, with her husband, Gary.
