To see new cases of obstetric fistula radically reduced in Ethiopia by 2020 with the goal of elimination and to see fistula survivors empowered and successfully reintegrated as self-contributors to their communities and educators in safe delivery.
Eliminate fistula by training survivors as Safe Motherhood Ambassadors who provide education and access to safe delivery options for pregnant mothers.
Rehabilitate fistula survivors with education, economic empowerment and counseling to transform their lives and support social reintegration.
Identify old or new cases of fistula for treatment (referred to Hamlin Fistula for treatment and then invited to join the Healing Hands of Joy Safe Motherhood Ambassador program).
